SAUNAS

All ready-made sauna models are made from Canadian Hemlock with Certified Wood Grading.

Outdoor Sauna
An outdoor sauna is a sturdy and tranquil retreat, where you can relax and rejuvenate amidst nature.
Building an outdoor sauna requires careful planning, suitable materials, and consideration of environmental factors.
Our outdoor saunas include multi layers of materials for durability, including an internal layer of European Finnish wood and an external layer of American UltraShield panels or European timber.

Wood Options
The wood we use for our saunas is sustainably produced and harvested in Finland.

Aspen
Because it doesn’t secrete resin, splinter or overheat, aspen makes for an ideal sauna material.
Its characteristic light tone and smooth texture give it an attractive look, suited to indoor spaces.

 

 

 

 

 

ThermoAspen
Premium, straight-grained Thermo-Aspen with a uniform texture and a warm rich hue that imparts a sophisticated appearance. The color of thermally modified aspen is an attractive golden brown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alder
Alder is a hardy and water-repellent wood that doesn’t overheat, with a beautiful reddish tone and a pleasant texture. The natural properties of Alder wood make it suitable for outdoor saunas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spruce
The natural color of spruce is almost white, with a pale yellow undertone. It is one of the lightest coniferous woods. Spruce retains its natural wood knots and is an affordable indoor option.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ultra Shield Panels
The ultra shield panels we use are manufactured by specialists in the USA

Outer Cover: The cap, which protects all sides of the board, is an impenetrable layer that can withstand staining, fading, scratching, cupping, swelling, mold and mildew. During the manufacturing process, Ultra Shield uses high temperatures to fuse the core and shield together simultaneously. This means that no harmful adhesives or chemicals are released into the air.

Composite core: The core of UltraShield products is made by mixing high- quality recycled materials with dense hardwood and softwood fibers, which provides the product with impressive strength and durability. These products are all 100% recyclable.

Fade resistance: The unique formulations of UltraShield guarantees that it will retain its vibrant, high-quality colors for much longer than regular composite decking products with poorer UV-resistance.

Splitting resistance: The impenetrable layer of the cap prevents the surface from splitting, which increases the longevity.

Stain resistance: If you spill something on your UltraShield composite siding boards — even wine, coffee or oil — it will not stain and never absorb liquids, so you can easily clean up any mess.

Mold resistance: The UltraShield has innate protection from mold and mildew, both of which are known to eat away at wooden boards.

Fire resistance: Unlike traditional wooden boards, UltraShield composite cladding is fire-resistant.

Pest resistance: Many insects, including termites, carpenter ants and carpenter bees, like to burrow into wood siding, which can be disastrous. Ultrashield is impenetrable by these invaders.

Low maintenance: UltraShield contains multi-chromatic colors, so you won’t ever have to sand, oil or paint it.
